Really friendly staff, great assortment of foods, this time we only came in for some tortalini and pasta to replace a fairly ordinary meal We just experienced at another place in town. I’m so glad we came here. The flavours are to die for. Photos do not do this justice at all. Restaurant at lunch time only had local Italian people dining so you know it’s good.

The real question is \why not 5 stars?\. Let's be clear: if you are looking for ouvelle cuisine\, waiters with tie and so on, this is definitely NOT your place. But if you are looking for a cozy, familiar, informal, simple place where to eat simple food... this DEFINITELY your place. Look for \trattoria\ in an Italian dictionary and you will find the perfect description of this place. We had something typical from the area (prosciutto di Parma, salame Felino, culatello,..), which came with (very atypical for Parma) \polenta fritta\. Nice, though I must say you can find better salumi in Parma. Second course was \osso buco\ with peas... Fantastic. We had a still red wine together, a Morellino di Scansano. It was good, but that was the only choice... Yes, probably a bit more choice wouldn't hurt. Price? Cheap, guys, very cheap!! Give it a try! Quantity and quality for the price was incredible.
Great food at great prices. Good wine list. A bit off the track but well worth the drive.
